I really wasn't all that enthusiastic about seeing this movie initially, but I was really pleasantly surprised. The first 30 minutes of this movie made me laugh more than I have at a movie in a really long time. It was just a fun, action packed adventure. Highly recommended.

I've seen it twice. Probably going for a third time. Not too many movies I see multiple times, but Wanted is one of those. It's funny that I really disliked the comic book, I thought it was poorly written, well, first half was fine, second half was awful, but the movie took the best parts and rewrote the others. Can't wait for Wanted 2. James McAvoy was an inspired choice for the role of Wesley Gibson.

The writing, the dialogue and acting were all tight, smart and fast. The plot has unexpected twists and turns rare in todays movies. Too often a twist is literally gratuitous and a turn is telegraphed so far back I sit and predict the plot long before it executes. Not so in this movie! But is plot surprises the one trick pony of the flick? NO! When that is all there is, then though I may like a movie I won't watch it again. I have seen this movie. Tomorrow I have a date to see it again in the theater. Does that answer that question? Oh... And yes... Jolie is DOUBLE sexy in this flick... Whew she is DANGEROUS sexy. Think Tomb Raider times ten! Yah as in SMOOOOOOKIN HOT!

What I really liked about this movie is that (for the most part) it didn't take itself too seriously. It felt like a shoot-em-up action movie the whole way through and that's exactly what it should have been. I liked how it combined the ideals of Fight Club with the thrlling action sequences of a movie like Die Hard or The Matrix.

McAvoy makes a decent action hero but Angolina handles a gun with the same exotic panache as she did in Tomb Raider. We're all just innocent bystanders hoping we duck in time. If it's action, thrills & gun sequences to rival The Matrix you're looking for then I highly recommend this movie.

I am not sure I would take my 12 year old again as there are a couple brief sex scenes that aren't meant to be "tasteful" at the beginning and then my son's comment at the end of the film was a little unsettling to a mom... he said it was the best movie he's ever seen! Yikes. I have to admit it was a wild ride.
