This movie was so much better than I expected! I didn't think it could be better than the first one, because it has been so long and I saw some mean reviews, but it was really good and it was pretty faithful to the book. It's a great movie for Harry Potter fans like me that are waiting for Half-Blood Prince, and also Twilight fans like me who are waiting for Twilight. I've always loved Narnia, and this was really great.

I absolutely loved this movie!!! i loved the first one but i didnt really have the feeling that i HAD to see this one. My boyfriend actually picked it out and we went to see it and it was amazing! The graphics, actors, music and just overall story was fantastic! You dont have to have read the books, be of Christian faith or be a kid to love this movie. It's going to be so hard to find a movie this year that will beat this! Its pretty obvious from all of the other opinions that I'm pretty much supported on what a great movie this is!

There are two problems an adaption can face - straying too far from the source material and sticking too close to the source material. With 'Prince Caspian' I think that the film makers managed to find a middle ground that avoided both those problems. They kept a nice pace by re-arranging some of the plot and adding a night raid that also added to character development. But they also kept the importance of faith as the main theme of the story. I've seen it twice, I'll likely see it again and I can't wait for the DVD. Now I just wish we didn't have to wait two years for "Voyage of the Dawn Treader"!

I have been a fan of the Chronicles of Narnia ever since I started reading the books in late elementary school.

While not perfect, these movies are a very good attempt and are a success by virtue of sticking to the story. While some elements have been abridged due to the differences between a printed novel and the big screen, the essential story line remains comparatively intact.

This movie is, like its predecessor and the books, an emotional roller coaster with some really quite impressive CGI and live action blending rather seamlessly to deliver the high highs and low lows I expect from them without descending into the over the top splatter fest tactics some other modern movie franchises have indulged in, especially considering the epic battles involved.

In short, this movie will take you away on a flight of escapist fantasy depicting the struggle between good and evil, which in this era abounding with harsh realities is a refreshing change.
