There's a reinvention process going on related to his Starbucks record deal it seems. The show at the Amoeba Records store in LA, "unannounced" small-venue shows in other cities, invites to said shows provided to small, indie mp3 blogs and podcasts like mine (but no promo mp3 provided so not THAT indie - ha). And he's selling this album in Starbucks (and online... via their new Hear label). Stadiums full of baby boomers don't seem to be part of the mix for his early promotional push. I'm sure that will come soon enough?
