Some parts were confusing thought - probably from trying to cram too much into the show around commercials. It needed another season to smooth out the rough spots. I too wish another netowrk would pick it up.

What a good show this was. It just got better with each new episode and then, gone. Thank goodness for iTunes. Wish I knew who the powers-that-be were so I could ask them personally who made the stupid decision to can this show. I'm so tired of reality show crap and New Amsterdam was a breath of fresh air. Guess I'll just turn off the TV and read a good book.

This show reminds me a little of Highlander (the first movie), which I loved. You know, an immortal in New York City, trying not to get noticed. The problem I have with it is that the characters are not that memorable. His girlfriend in the first season had the personality of a paper bag. I keep on waiting for his partner to break out and do or say something interesting. I've watched at least five or six shows and I still can't remember anyones name.
