It is a sad day when quality programming that can be enjoyed by the whole family, is cancelled, but nasty, vulgar, violent shows continue to air. I long for the days when I can sit down with my boys and watch T.V. together, and not just Avatar (a cartoon on Nickelodeon). Journeyman provided that. I love Heroes, but it freaks out my kids, and most sitcoms are so crude, that I spend the whole time explaining (as best I can to my 7 year old) what is going on.

Journeyman is very much a missed show. I'm leaving the light on.

OH, and though it is no surprise, I have not heard anything from anyone at FOX.

What a difference 24 hours make. Yesterday I was over the moon with elation and hope that our beloved Journeyman could possibly be coming back. I have e-mailed several execs at NBC and John Miller, Chief Marketing Officer replied. He said, that not only does NBC have NO plans to bring back Journeyman, they have reverted all rights back to FOX. So, if we want to get a DVD set, or bring our show back we need to stop trying to get through to NBC, and direct our efforts solely at FOX. I got the contact information from savejourneyman.net. I know that campaigning isn't allow here at HeyNielsen, so I won't, but I won't keep the information from any of you.

It is with a heavy heart that I admit I let my hopes get the best of me. I hope you are not too upset with me for jumping the gun. I must admit, it felt very good to have some hope in world of Journeyman. Yesterday was the brightest the light has been in a while.

I have a feeling people are messing with us. Since NBC was so covert about canceling Journeyman, I assume they're not bringing it back. I can dream though, NBC can't cancel that.

"HI JOURNEYMAN FANS!! I'm a TV producer in New York and I have exciting news!! I've learned a inside scoop that management at NBC is taking in consideration of the major outcry of support by fans to revive the show. There is a good chance that NBC will make something happen and that "Journeyman" could possibly be back on air by fall 2008 or midseason 2009. Nothing is gauranteed, its only in the early stages, and hopefully something can work out."

I know that we have all said that Journeyman is a great show, and I am sure I will repeat what has already been said, but sometimes things are worth repeating. Journeyman filled a void for quality television. The characters were relatable, the scenery was beautiful, the acting superb and the content believable. Journeyman is the kind of show that raises the bar and leaves us wanting more.

It has obviously made an impact on all of us, because we are still here posting, and were not cheating just to boost our numbers. We are a class act, which makes sense, since Journeyman is a class show.
