I am sick of hearing that same old taking point that "The John McCain of 2000 wouldn't even consider voting for the John McCain of 2008." Let us face it--The John McCain of 2000 was a LOSER! His changes are proving to be successful and people are trying to put him down for being effective.

With it down to two choices, it is a slam dunk. I am not into paying more taxes and am definitely into drilling here and now. I don't agree with everything this man stands for but the other choice scares me to death for America.

This would really be a true democratic Ideal. This was how our country was based. Pros and Cons working together for the good of the nation. No one would be back stabbing each other. They would spend their time keeping America safe, strong, and, fair.

new pick. It should turn an already interesting case into a even more interested case. I guess Biden will have to eat his words of the past when he made his speech about experience and the lack there of that of another candidate of past years. WE shall see who will eat their words!

If John McCain needs his staff just to tell him how many houses he and his family own, I'm guessing he has lost track of the total number of bathrooms he enjoys. Does he even realize that many Americans are lucky to have one toilet that flushes reliably?

Except for the horrid period of his life as a POW, the truth is that John McCain was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and is a man who has always enjoyed a life of great privilege that finds its roots in the hard work of his grandfather, father and father-in-law.

With a personal budget for Charmin and Lysol that's more than most of us will ever make in a year, John McCain will never know what it's like for Americans who must rob Peter to pay Paul in order to put food on the dinner table while Barack Obama hasn't forgotten.

He was in the Vietnam War we shouldn’t have been in we lost…he got captured…now we’re in another war we shouldn’t be in…he graduated with a lower score then Bush…5th from the bottom of his class at Annapolis…that’s a really scary thought for a President! So how does all of that add up to knowing how to win a war? I’m confused?

“Military Personnel Stationed Overseas Give More Money to Obama Over McCain 6:1”

A non-partisan watchdog group has found that military personnel stationed overseas want to see a change and are giving more money to Barack Obama than John McCain. By 6:1. That's an astonishing discovery.

Old-fashioned common sense doesn't develop with 30 years experience in Washington. The troops know wisdom is a gift, they know Obama was born. They hope. They believe. And, they know: Yes, we can.

"As an active duty sailor who has been in the Navy for the entire Bush Administration, I am tired - sick and tired of fighting in a war I opposed from the beginning. I did donate to Obama's campaign because the US needs change, and not more McBush." ~~Shana

And, consider these thoughts:

"As a Vietnam-era veteran with a son who is in the Army and was wounded in Iraq in 2003, I would never give a penny to John McCain... Jack, veterans hate war, wrong wars, and the people who talk so cavalierly about waging them." ~~Veteran from Wisconsin

“Georgia on his mind? Did you know his top foreign policy advisor has ties to 'brave little nation'?”

From the Washington Post: Sen. John McCain's top foreign policy adviser prepped his boss for an April 17 phone call with the president of Georgia and then helped the presumptive Republican presidential nominee prepare a strong statement of support for the fledgling republic. The day of the call, a lobbying firm partly owned by the adviser, Randy Scheunemann, signed a $200,000 contract to continue providing strategic advice to the Georgian government in Washington.

"The question is, who is the client? Is the adviser loyal to income from a foreign client, or is he loyal to the candidate he is working for now?" said James Thurber, a lobbying expert at American University. "It's dangerous if you're getting advice from people who are very close to countries on one side or another of a conflict."

“I know I speak for every American when I say today we are all Georgians,” McCain told President Mikheil Saakashvili.

John McCain is wrong. He does not speak for me. No more war.
