The show has a great purpose, but no way should it run as a TV program every week. The emotional quotes become interchangeable after a few episodes, and the whole starts sounding false. This show should run as a two-hour special once or twice a year. Nothing stops the good work from continuing without TV. If Sears wants the exposure, let them run advertisements about the projects.

I give so much credit to Sears, to the construction/landscaping people who give of their time and continue to give long after the show has moved on to their next assignment. Yes, they do go for the emotional story -- but that's what it takes to get America to tune in. I support this show fully.

I think they should build them houses as big as the White House if they want too. All these corporate raiders spend their whole life making money off of the needy and the poor and they live in million dollar homes, well I think that people who think about everybody other than themselves should have the same chance. as much as I like this show, I noticed as of late how they don't do much of showing us the finished rooms, like the Virginia home of the solider, they brought the decorater on to show the Mom the kitchen and only went on about the dishwasher and what brand it is. They didn't show the kids room, barely at all. The kitchen he could of talked about the brick flooring or shelves etc. They really need to show us more the finished product!
