Beyonce has become the best female musical performer of our generation and a true icon by 1) learning from greats like Tina Turner and Janet Jackson; 2) incorporating the things she learned from them, because she's smart enough to learn from the best; 3) going from just natural talent, to a voice trained out of this world; 4) developing her own singing style; 5) dancing her derriere off; 6) writing beautiful songs; 7) learning this industry and surrounding herself with positive people; and 8) conducting herself like a lady, even in the face of MANY haters & negative press! Beyoncé and Jay-Z arrived at Scarsdale Village Hall shortly after it opened at 9 a.m on Tuesday to get their marriage license. "It was just the two of them," an eyewitness tells PEOPLE. "They were very polite and smiling as they filled out the paperwork. They were holding hands for a while. They looked really happy."

Could their happiness be because the longtime couple is finally putting the constant wedding and split rumors to rest? Although a rep for Beyoncé, 26, had no comment and a rep for Jay-Z, 38, could not be reached, the courthouse trip is the first real indication that the pair – who first started dating in 2002 – will walk down the aisle.

She puts everything she has into her music; you can see her crying in concerts. 2) The reason her videos are always on VH1 is because people vote for her; which is also why all of her concerts sell out. 3) There is no way that she is fat. You cant see her ribs, but she's got one of the best bodies ever. 4) Anyone who doesn't believe she can sing, watch the B-Day concert ( it's not hard to find) and watch the way she holds the notes. Everyone can have their own opinion, but most of you just want to argue. We all know she can sing, don't hate on the best!
