I always knew knew Hillary was a wolf in sheep's clothing, but recent revelations have come out, really drives that point home. Some secret memos, about how Hillary tried to sabotage Barack Obama during the primaries have come out ( check out the story on TheAtlantic.com- under the story " the Front Runner's Fall.") Hillary Clinton, and her chief strategist Mark Penn, attempted to form a strategy to coerce reporters into writing negative attack articles about Obama. When that didn't work, she started making the attacks herself!

Unbelievable ( then again, not really). What's so messed up about this is that Barack Obama has gone to great lengths to negotiate with Hillary's demands on how big of a role she'd have, at the convention; in order to bring some sort of satisfactory closure, and catharsis, to Hillary's supporters. But that's really a big steaming bowl of B.S. So Hillary lost in the primaries; I can understand how frustrating and upsetting that must have been for her.....

I grew up in a small town and remember when parents of black friends could not buy a home, even though they had well-paying jobs, without the assistance of white members of the NAACP.

As a 12-year-old kid, I was spellbound when I heard Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech and I've been thinking about his words in 2008 as Barack Obama has been forced to counter lies about his race, religion and patriotism time and again.

"But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place," noted Rev. King, "we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline."

Learn the truth, now. There has never been a fiercer urgency.

Keep the American dream alive. For everyone.

His swift- boating of John Kerry was a big factor in him losing the election in 2004; even though many of the claims in his book, were discredited as lies. Now he's written a book called "The Obama Nation", with the deliberate attempt to cause Barack to lose the election. The funny thing is, this book is #1 on The New York Times best-sellers list; but there are claims in this book, that have already been proven false!!

I watched Jerome Corsi on Larry King Live, struggle to justify his false statements in the book about Barack Obama; some of his other books, along with his own history of posting hate-filled statements on right-wing blogs. It was really pathetic. You can go to media matters.org, to see the refutes against John Corsi's claims against Barack Obama.

What this author does is bring a quote to mind: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

I wasn't fooled the first time, so there's NO WAY that will happen now!

I chose to post the ad that recognizes positive values, including the efforts of some Obama supporters in rural Ohio who found a new way to show their enthusiasm for Obama, by painting their family barn. From The Boston Globe: Barack Obama's TV ad that will run during the Beijing Olympics is an uplifting appeal to Americans' can-do spirit to transform the economy with sweeping changes in energy policy.

"The hands that built this nation can build a new economy. The hands that harvest crops can also harvest the wind. The hands that install roofs can also install solar panels. The hands that build today's cars can build the next generation of fuel-efficient vehicles," the announcer says, as the appropriate images appear on screen.

Then, Obama appears on screen. "Barack Obama," the announcer says. "A new vision for our economy. Fast track alternative fuels. Create five million jobs developing home-grown energy technologies because America's future is in our hands.”

The ad will run on national cable and in all 50 states starting Saturday, his campaign said.

Obama plans to spend $5 million on ads during the games, which officially started with the opening ceremonies today.

A new left-wing organization that wants to help elect Barack Obama president is sending letters to nearly 10,000 major donors who contribute to Republican causes, threatening them with potential legal problems if they finance conservative groups.

The nonprofit organization, Accountable America, is even offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to the criminal conviction or fines of at least $10,000 for violations of campaign finance laws or other statutes by a conservative group, according to The New York Times.

Accountable America is led by Tom Matzzie, former Washington director of the liberal activist group MoveOn.org, and its research director is Judd Legum, who served that role in Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

Matzzie called the organization’s effort “going for the jugular.” He told The Times, "We want to stop the Swift Boating before it g

According to the National Taxpayers Union, Obama has proposed at least $287 billion a year in new government spending. He also co-sponsored a Senate bill to spend at least $845 billion a year to fight global poverty.

Obama would pay for these increases with much higher taxes, including by allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010.

So then with his higher taxes this will pay for those who do not make a lot of money, to depend on the government for hand outs. Just like health care for everyone, isn't this like Canada, a socialist country that taxes their citizens to death to pay for all the programs to pay for the poor? So how can you say he is not leaning towards socialism.
