When I watched it I discovered Alex O'Loughlin! Couldn't be better. Freddie Highmore is one my favorite child actors. As a teacher I'm always looking for films that inspire and I think this is one to add to my list. With the gas crunch, I have found myself doing a lot of sitting in front of the DVD player and now I can add this film to inspire my day.

I'd wanted to see it when it was first released, but never got the time! Then when I heard it was coming out on DVD, I was going to rent it - but... [more]

I'd wanted to see it when it was first released, but never got the time! Then when I heard it was coming out on DVD, I was going to rent it - but I forgot!

This past week, while missing Moonlight, I couldn't stand another day without SOME of Alex's work - and I'd heard he was in it! I rented it last week, and was totally captivated by the story! It's such a wonderful "coming together of Genetics and the Fates" that it ran through, that I'd call it one of the best Feel Good movies I've seen! I'm convinced now, that I should buy a copy - because I know I'm going to want to see it again several times a year! I'm going to tell my family members to rent this! I know all of them will love it!

Keri Russell, from what i heard, learned how to play the cello just for this movie which is extremely impressive! it was great seeing alex o'loughlin in the movie too, even though he didn't play a major role =P. overall loved it =)

I loved the young actor playing Evan Taylor. His portrayal of a mucisian was spot on right. This was a very feel good moving that I would suggest anyone that loves music and cares about family see.
