Streep did a great job singing and acting and while Pierce had us squinting with his singing, the backdrop of Greece was so beautifull, Amanda Seyfried was nothing short of gorgeious, and the cast just had an absolute blast to the point the audience was laughing out loud, and singing and crying right along with them in the movie!

Abba's music, gorgeous scenery, dancing and singing, and lots of laughs...what's not to like? A fun time was definitely had by all!! And yes, that included plenty of men!!

I'm a huge fan of the GN and the trailer was so faithful and innovative that it blew my mind.

death. I seriously think playing the Joker is what killed him. I think he delved too much into the darkness of this character and he couldn't "shake it" once it was over.

So sad. Batman has always been my fave comic book character/hero. But I just don't

think I can watch this one.

I LOVED the books....can't wait till the newest book comes out!!....and i hope the movie captures the emotions from the book. The only thing that i am a little uneasy about the movie is the actor of Edward. Every girls dream guy is Edward...if they have read the books and know about him....and it will be nearly impossible to capture his character. 12.12.08 <3

I am greatly looking forward to seeing this film. I have been waiting for this release for upwards of 11 months now and am going on opening night. Ledger, Bale, Gyllenhaal, Caine, and Eckhart all look at the very top of their game and I couldn't be a bit more obsessed. However as I have yet to see this monumental achievement of a movie, I must remain neutral. But rest assured, I will be back immediately after viewing it to write a full review and change my opinion.

I've seen it at two different movie theaters, once with my husband, and it choked me up in the same places both times. With little Alexandia's pleas for Roy to stop the killing? I was a sobbing puddle.

The healing of the leads, and an incomplete emotional healing at that, is the heart of this tale. I cannot understand the professional critics who claim that the story is incomprehensible: the wonderful, fantastical bits are the story as seen by Alexandria's mind. The real world sequences are how Roy is dealing with his fall, including how he deals with this trusting little girl.

The ending is not pat, but hopeful- as most good stories are. I highly recommend this to anyone over the age of 12, younger depending on their maturity, of course.
